Introduction

Welcome to the Mira Mira Studios website. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Services Offered

Mira Mira Studios specializes in self-portrait photography, providing clients with access to our studio, professional equipment, and simple, guided experiences in a private setting.

Booking and Payment

• All appointments must be booked in advance through our website or by contacting us directly.
• Full payment is required at the time of booking. Sessions are confirmed only once payment has been received.
• All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• By completing your booking, you agree to receive email communication from us related to your session and future studio updates. You may unsubscribe at any time.
• Prices are subject to change, but any changes will be clearly communicated prior to your appointment.

Rescheduling Policy

• Sessions may be rescheduled once, provided we receive at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled session.
• Rescheduling requests with less than 24 hours' notice will result in forfeiture of the session.
• Rescheduled sessions must take place within 12 months of the original booking date.

Best Photo Guarantee Refund Policy

• After you receive the photos from us, if you are not satisfied, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving them, and we will proceed with refund.

Session Timing & Late Arrivals

• Your session will begin and end at the times listed in your booking confirmation.
• If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time, and no extensions will be offered.
• Clients who miss their appointment window will forfeit their session and payment.

Studio Conduct

• A maximum of 10 people are allowed per session unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Clients are responsible for their own safety and for supervising any pets or children they bring.
• We use professional lighting and equipment—please be mindful and avoid touching or leaning on equipment.
• Eating or drinking inside the studio is not permitted, except for the complimentary water provided. A designated area for food is available outside the studio.
• Clients are responsible for cleaning up any mess caused by pets or children (including pet waste).

Backdrop Care

Our backdrops offer a clean and professional finish for your photos. To maintain their quality:

• Please bring clean indoor shoes or use the protective tape we provide on the day.
• If the backdrop is soiled or damaged during your session, a $65 replacement fee will apply.

Image Rights and Usage

• We will never access, publish, or use your photos without your explicit permission.
• Images may only be used by Mira Mira Studios for marketing or promotional purposes if:
  • You sign a model release form, or
  • You provide written confirmation via email, SMS, or direct message (including file names), or
  • You share the images publicly and tag or mention Mira Mira Studios.
• If you send us your session photos or refer to specific file names via email, text, or social media—without requesting a specific service—this will be considered consent to use those photos for marketing purposes.
• Once permission is granted, we may use your images across social media, website, printed materials, digital campaigns, and other promotional platforms.
• You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us in writing. We will remove the images from our platforms where reasonably possible.
• Clients may request high-resolution poster-size files for an additional fee.

Image Delivery

• Your photos will be delivered within 24 hours of your session via email.
• Mira Mira Studios does not retain images beyond 7 days after delivery. Please ensure you download and store your photos promptly.
• All images are processed with automatic enhancements using our signature presets for lighting and colour. Manual retouching is not included unless specifically agreed in advance.

Client Confidentiality

• Any personal information or content shared with us will remain confidential.
• We will only disclose client information or use client content as necessary to provide our services or when permission is clearly granted.

Liability

• Mira Mira Studios is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or loss that may occur during your session.
• Clients participate at their own risk and are responsible for any damage caused by themselves, their children, guests, or pets.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

Mira Mira Studios reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of any revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes arising under them are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Acceptance of Privacy Policy

By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to Mira Mira Studios' Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
